Can you help with care after a hospital stay or surgery?
Yes. Returning home after an illness, hospitalization, surgery, or medical procedure can feel vulnerable. Our caregivers offer a reassuring presence and non-medical support with personal care, meals, mobility, reminders, companionship, and everyday tasks while your loved one recuperates.
Do you accept Medicare, Medi-Cal, or medical insurance?
OI Home Care provides private-pay, non-medical home care and accepts eligible long-term care insurance. We do not accept Medicare, Medi-Cal, or standard medical insurance. If you have a long-term care policy, our specialist can help you explore your benefits.
Are your caregivers screened?
Yes. OI caregivers are HCA-registered, fingerprinted, insured, bonded, and carefully vetted for safety, reliability, and professionalism. Our caregivers are also all W2 employees.
How do you choose a caregiver for my loved one?
We begin by truly getting to know your loved one—their personality, routines, preferences, care needs, and what makes them feel comfortable. We use that understanding to make a thoughtful match and remain involved after care begins to ensure the relationship continues to feel right.
What is non-medical home care?
Non-medical home care offers a helping hand and a caring presence with personal care, companionship, meals, light housekeeping, errands, mobility, medication reminders, and other daily routines. It does not include skilled nursing, medical treatment, or services that must be performed by a licensed medical professional.
